FSC® CERTIFICATION
MANK RELIES ON SUSTAINABILITY

As of 2010, we are an FSC® certified operation. This means that, at your request, we only use tissue qualities in which the virgin fibres stem from forests that are cultivated in an organic and socially responsible manner.

In accordance with the "chain-of-custody" criteria, we ensure that certified paper is not mixed with or mistaken for uncertified paper during both the production and the entire ordering process and we document its use in all ordering documentation - from delivery to shipment.

The Forest Stewardship Council was founded in 1993, one year after the "Environment and Development" conference in Rio de Janeiro. Goal is to implement the stipulations passed in Rio in "sustainable development" for forests. Equal consideration of social, ecological and economical aspects of the use of natural assets is of particular importance within the framework of the Rio requirements.

FSC® is thus an international seal of guarantee.
Wood and paper with the FSC® seal are guaranteed to not stem from overexploitation. To the contrary: it encourages socially and environmentally-friendly forest cultivation!
For our customers, buying FSC® certified products means certainty. Certainty that, in the course of forest cultivation, no people were exploited nor were animals or plants endangered.
